Dr. Van Wicklen is a member of the Tenth District Dental Society, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and American Orthodontic Society.

Dr. Van Wicklen's History:

Dr. Van Wicklen graduated from UT Austin in 1981 with a degree in Biology, and in 1985 he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the UT Health Science Center in San Antonio.

Dr. Van Wicklen has been practicing Dentistry in Austin since 1985. He married his childhood sweetheart, Jeanette Forney Van Wicklen. They first met in 7th grade in San Antonio.

Jeanette received her B.S. at the University of Oklahoma in 1981. She has been a Certified Interior Decorator since 2000. They have three children: Billy and Jackie Shoemaker and Luke Van Wicklen.

Together they enjoy traveling, tennis, Harley rides, 4-wheeling, bird hunting, fishing, water skiing, jet skiing, snorkeling, gardening and family get-togethers with their large extended family. Dr. Van Wicklen also enjoys riding Enduro dirt motorcycles with his son, Luke.
